      We began our home building process with Fairway in Jan 2024, at that time we were working with a lender that ended up being clueless about construction loans. Between Jan 2024 and July 2024 we worked in very good faith with our lender and Fairway to close and break ground. The lender assured us and Fairway that everything was on track. ****** at Fairway was my contact person and when the lender began to give us the runaround, ****** jumped into superwoman mode! I have zero negative things to say about ****** and Fairway. They jumped into action to make sure that we found a reputable lender that would get us back on track to build our home. Was there a price increase during this time, yes, but it states in the contract that it may happen. The reason for the delay in starting was through no fault of theirs, so the increase was understood. ****** and her team were professional and transparent the entire time. Her communication with us was excellent and almost daily, she kept us in the loop and offered her help with anything we needed. Everything has worked out perfectly thus far since switching lenders - we broke ground today!

      Do your homework! Fairway built my home. It was a VERY frustrating process and I ended up trenching my electric and water because of the outrageous change in cost they quoted me. The guy ******************* (their salesman) recommended for my site prep isnt even a general contractor. I have no warranty for my septic he placed or for any work he did. I was told that Fairway would come out after a year and fix any issues with my home. Almost 2 years now and still cant get a hold of anyone in the *************** I called the **** warranty that fairway sold us on and they said we have to go to the builder first. I have cracks in the ceiling from settling drywall and the warranty said they wouldnt cover that anyway. If you like drama and frustration and a prolonged build time then this is the company for you. If not, I would walk away!

Fairway Homes West and our Homeowners are a joint building partnership. We build your home from foundation through carpet. Unfortunately your review sounds like you had a bad experience with trades pertaining to your homeowner responsibilities including site prep, excavation and septic. On occasion our Sales team may make a recommendation to help our homeowners find trades to help with homeowner responsibility. *********** may have made a recommendation, and unfortunately we can only call it a recommendation based on Mr ***** past experience with the trade recommended. If you had a poor experience with that trade we recommend opening a BBB claim for that trade. Regarding your **** Warranty, **** in an industry leading 3rd party company. I apologize if I mis understood your statement, however, the warranty was provided as part of your build as it has been for all of our homeowners , because we stand behind our builds . **** requires us to build our homes to a high standard and was never sold as a separate policy to you. Regarding any repairs to your home, We are happy to look into these items and recommend you reach out to us at ************************************************************* We look forward to your email .
