    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 21114865, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

    Regards,

We got some documents from this Firm. Buses and Associates. They’re trying to take us to court for a debt settlement that happened in 2020. During COVID. They have been harassing and sending papers to us. There was a relief of pause for credit payments during the pandemic. Anyways, my collection/dispute has been DROPPED. It’s no longer on my credit report and they still continue to harass me, and now my husband. We’ve contacted them several times by PHONE, email and Even FAX. Now they’re stating that we missed a hearing for court when we never got any communication or papers with a court date from them. Ive been reading the reviews for this firm. Everyone is saying they are crooks and scammers. They still harass you after you pay them the outstanding balance. I’m on a disability fixed income and I told them they won’t win the case. They still are harassing us. They gave us a default judgment, and they’re charging us for court fees when we’ve never been to court yet. These people are gonna be reported to the attorney general.

There is no “federal pursuant law” for you to respond to my complaint. I have called and emailed this business, not LAW FIRM. They still went to court and got a default judgment behind my back. They cannot garnish my wages, I am on a FIXED social security disability income, and if they do so this violate section 207 of the SSA ACT. That is a federal punishment.

This company attempted contact via phone to my husband's phone number then mine. The people who answered our phones were relatives who would not provide any information to "Claudia". We suspect the attempt to contact me is regarding Cox Communications having billed past 11-19-21 shut off date they did not take note of even after phone verification of shut off date. I have already previously contacted BBB over 1 yr ago in regard to Cox Communications illegal & fraudulent charge past billing date & return of Cox Communications property on 11-19-21 with written statement from the relative who turned in Cox Communications property. Included on original request was 1) remove fraudulent charges 2) stop contacting regarding fraudulent charges 3) do NOT send this fraudulent charge to collections. We left Tucson, Az. on 11-19-21 with no debt to any business, as we paid ALL closing bills in December 2021. We will NOT pay any fraudulent charges by Cox Communications or any other company trying to collect on a fraudulent charge/debt. We will not tolerate any calls/emails/texts from this collection company and will file suit against this collection company if they wrongfully put debt to effect either my husband's or my credit scores. We have no problem contacting Phoenix, Az. AG office to pursue legal action against this company.

I do not accept the response from the business due to there being no valid collections item for them to collect on or not speak to BBB regarding. The business is attempting to stonewall progress on my complaint with BBB due to their wreckless claim of a debt to claim on to begin with.
