              I was due to arrive in Scottsdale on September 2nd, however, due to *****************, our flight was cancelled with no ability to reschedule in the next day. Our trip was until the 5th so I called Scottsdale Resort about the situation upon learning if the cancellation on the 2nd. I explained the extenuating situation outside of our control and was told a Reservations Manager would contact me should there be any issue cancelling the reservation. No one contacted me yet I was charged $177 without even setting foot in this hotel or *******! I did not authorize any charges as my reservation was to be charged upon arrival. This is horrible customer service and hospitality as a whole.

              The customer service and the way I was treated by this company was appalling. I was supposed to have my wedding here this November but had to cancel it. Every venue I have looked at before booking here in the case of cancellation they only keep the deposit if you cancel way in advanced. Not how it is here, this company is so money hungry its disgusting. I cancelled in January so more than 10 months ahead of time and still had to pay an extra 3.5k to cancel for food and beverage that was never received or ordered. Per the sales director it was for damages if the date isnt booked. Yet my sales coordinator was pushing me to cancel because she wanted to book my date for someone else. So they took over 5k from me to book the date regardless. No one is willing to negotiate or work with me at all which I find wrong in so many ways. Broke my heart they would treat customers this way and not willing to work with you at all. I would never recommend this place after my experience here. Thank you for nothing.
