      Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Not embellishment; I mean it. They are the worst bar any entity for customer service I have ever dealt with, worldwide, including several very poor countries I lived in. Failed on every level, even after weeks have passed. If you can get two coconuts with a string, Go with the coconuts over this company.

      Even Now months later one issue not fixed. Phone goes in out. Even after service rep gave personal number. He just never answered or called. Phone service is worthless. Worst worst worst company in the world.

      Signed up in Sept 2022 under ACP, also had friend sign up under their $100 referral program. ACP was never applied as we were told and didnt know until 3 months later when we got our first piece of mail from them which was shut off notice, when we called was told we need to keep applying each month which we know for fact is wrong, when asked about the $100 for the friend we referred and to apply it to what's owed we got told that he needed to make a payment first before we get the $100 for referring him yet he got his $50 credit for signing up. This company is a joke they mislead you into a service and then don't apply it a N d make you pay a bill before restoring anything when we were suppose to get FREE INTERNET. They dont do what they say and customer service is rude, I highly recommend nobody goes to Windstream because their business practices and lack of communication is beyond poor

      they need to be shut down. all there equipment is out dated and very slow. it;s very hard to port your number away from them. weve been working on one of our number for over a week now. they are loosing customers left and right. they should be bankrupt in less than a year. IF ANYONE IS THINKING ABOUT GETTING WINDSTREAM. HIT YOUR SELF WITH A VERY LARGE HAMMER YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF.

      Very bad internet service in general! I have called customer service over the course of 4 months trying to see where my promised credit of 200$ prepaid visa for signing up with them. I talked to 3 people saying they put it in and a tracking number has been sent out and will receive in 4-8 weeks never did i receive the card or the tracking number. One person didn’t even know how to answer my question and just gave me a random answer to get me off the phone. I’ve been waiting since October and it’s now February and still no card after 3 people said they put in the card to be sent to me. I will never go back to this company again.

      Poor customer service. My internet went down and they are telling me that it will be 10 days before they can send a technician! Not satisfied at all!

      Where to start... terrible customer service. They increased my bill by nearly double with no warning. They claimed a discount I eas receiving had expired but I received no communication stating the discount was ending. There was a tiny expiration date deep in an online bill but it was only under a $2.50 discount, not under the $20 discount I was concerned about. The 2 discounts were in separate parts of the bill so there was no way to know the expiration was for both, not to mention that it's very underhanded to bury something like that in the back of an online bill without giving any sort if warning. A simple email stating that the discount was about to expire would have gone a long way. Instead, I didn't find out until my bill increased by $25 in one month. Terrible customer care. And the customer service I had to deal with to figure this out was awful and utterly unhelpful. Just disgraceful business practices with no concern for the customer.

      They have the worst customer service I have ever seen. My internet has been on and off for three weeks. They have sent technicians out multiple times with no success. I have been told I have an appointment one day and then they say no it’s another day. I have to miss work waiting all day for the technician to arrive. Phone support is useless and online support is even worse. Windstream knows I have no real options for other services so I am stuck paying for services I don’t receive.

      Called for a disconnect for Jan 31st and they decided to disconnect it on Jan 25th. I called to see why my internet was out, stayed on the phone for over an hour, called back later and there was no record of me calling at all, 2nd phone call went nowhere so I did live chat and she said I wasn’t in the system so she sent me to someone else and they said it was disconnected and I would have to reopen a new account. This is ridiculous. I’ve been a customer for 14 years and will never again.

      Since November 2022 we have had intermittent service. Multiple repair tickets written, no fix, plus inadequate credit for lack of service . Customer Service is “off shore” and really doesn’t care- repair department has such a large employee turnover rate hard to tell if they are trained. Really a poorly run company! As of 1/24/22, still no phone or internet and the scheduled repair is for 1/30/22, and that is after 11 calls and a trip to the local Windstream office.
