    I had been working with Sharper Image Turf for about two years to cut my grass and do weed control. This year I decided to let them take care of the leaves. When I spoke to their office manager she said the job would cost me at $175 to blow the leaves and bag them. This seemed reasonable to me, so I agreed. On 9/17/25 they sent 3 guys and it took them about 4 hours. On 9/18/25 I got a call from their office manager stating that they had misquoted the labor and that it was actually going to cost $415. This is considerably higher than I had budgeted and if they would have told me this prior to completing the work I would not have agreed. I placed a 3 star review on their ****** page to get the owners attention to the issue, but his response was they feel thats what the job was worth, and that I could call him so he could better explain the value of the work they performed. I understand the value of the work, in previous years I have done the work myself, however, the lack of business ethics to charge more than double without taking into consideration the customers ability to pay such astronomical amount for a job that was quoted much less shows this business lack of understanding on how customer relationships work.

    We are not sure if you speaking of the correct group or not. Our rate is actually $75 per man hour, so if Im fact as you mentioned clearly it took 4 hours with 3 men, the rate would be 12 man hours @ $75, being $900 plus a haul away if there was a requirement for that. If you can please reach out to us to confirm it is the correct group you are referring to, we would be glad to see what we can do. We are charged for dump fees, as well as manual labor. If a job requires more, we will adjust accordingly within reason. Please let us know. Thank you!
