      I am writing to formally make a complaint concerning denial of my recent claim concerning vehicle damage sustained on June 25, 2025, at approximately 4:30 p.m. while driving on ************* in **********, ******* an active construction zone managed by Wiregrass Construction Company.While traveling through the area, my vehicle struck a large, unmarked pothole, resulting in damage to my front driver-side tire. I immediately documented the incident with photographs and promptly submitted all supporting materials, including the repair receipt, to their office. Despite this, my claim was denied on the grounds that slow down signage was present. I must respectfully state that no such signage was visible at the time. The only traffic control in place were orange cones dividing the lanes.Wiregrass Construction stripped all four lanes both northbound and southbound of a major arterial roadway and leave it in an unsafe and deteriorating condition for several weeks. The condition of the road during this time posed an ongoing danger to the public and showed a significant lack of planning and consideration for motorist safety.I have since spoken with representatives from the City of ********** and was informed that Wiregrass Construction is responsible for addressing claims from citizens who incurred damages due to the unsafe conditions. Additionally, many residents have expressed similar frustrations via social media, which suggests that this is not an isolated incident but part of a larger pattern of neglect.This letter serves not only as an complaint and a plea for reimbursement in the amount of $293 for the damage to my vehicle but also as a formal complaint regarding the mismanagement and inadequate safety precautions taken during the course of this project. I strongly urge this company to reconsider its approach to public infrastructure work, especially in high-traffic areas. It is my hope that this matter can be resolved professionally and promptly.
