CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2017 STUDENT OF INTEGRITY AWARD WINNERS!

 

The Better Business Bureau of the Upstate awarded six Student of Integrity Awards to rising high school seniors in the Upstate who personify character through leadership, community service, personal integrity and academic history. Each student received a $1,500 scholarship to attend an accredited college or university. The "Stand Out Student" award recipient was Ashley Ward, who will receive a $2,000 scholarship in her first year and the second year, the scholarship is renewable based on maintaining a 3.0 grade point average.

Joshua Wright
University of South Carolina Student

 

Joshua Wright is currently a student in the University of South Carolina Honors College and on the executive council of the largest fraternity on campus. During his time at USC, Joshua has interned with the University of South Carolina Sports Medicine and Orthopedics Center and shadowed several doctors in the Columbia area. Recently, he has been presented an opportunity to intern at a hospital in Barcelona, Spain next semester through the study abroad program. Ultimately, Joshua hopes to specialize in Orthopedic Surgery in order to stay connected to his athletic passions and experience the feelings that come with helping others gain back their health each and every day.
