              Had pace maker installed. Made me wait over 1 hour on a strtcher. it was cold, did't offer a warm blanket. Night nurse was kurt,not kind. Day nurse was kind and helpful. Did not give any follow up instructions like what not to do etc. VERY VERY EXPENSIVE! Charged my inurance for over 95000 $ for one night stay and operation theater for less than 3/4 hr!

              Last year I tried to get into Dr. Cory W**** and was told he was not taking new patients. Now he is taking new patients, so I called the office and they said I needed a referral. So my doctor sent a referral over and now they won't take a Prisma referral. They didn't tell me that before.. I guess they don't care about actually helping people or the oath they swore to. Nice to know as I will never go to a Bon Secour again since obviously patient care is not what they care about at all. Poor Customer Service and if they take my insurance why does it matter where the referral came from - especially since my insurance doesn't require a referral. It seems denying a service that is available because it was referred to by another health system should be illegal. It seems very sketchy.

              This hospital needs to be shut down, They only think of the patients as a number and not as a human being. They care less if the patients live or die.

              Wouldnt allow me to see an Endocrinologist because my primary Dr was wirh Prisma. I had a referral but explained my insurance didnt require a referral to see a specialist. They still wouldnt accept me as a patient to see an endocrinologist for my diabetese They are not concerned about the health care of patienfs. Very segregated system and very poor customer service.

              It was the worst experience I ever had. The service was horrible. Went in for a finger laceration that wouldn't stop bleeding. Sat there for two hours while they waited for it to stop bleeding ( I could've done that at home!). It didn't stop bleeding so they sent me home without any bandages and without resolving the issue. The nurse wrapped my entire finger, down to the wrist for the cut on the tip and it fell off on the way home. It bled for another day and a half. Then I got a bill for $3200. I called the patient advocate line for help and there was no advocacy. Insurance didn't have a contract with them, but I was assured that insurance would cover it. NEVER again. Find a different hospital.

              DONT GO HERE! The worst hospital ever. I recently visited the ER and unfortunately had a terrible experience. Upon arrival, I was extremely sick and weak, and despite this, I was placed in a chair in the ER hallway and left forgotten. I sat there for quite some time before I decided to leave and go to a new hospital. It wasn't until I disclosed my intentions to leave that a doctor finally came to see me. While receiving my IV, another nurse came and moved me back to the waiting room. I can't comprehend how a hospital's first priority isn't the comfort and care of their sick patients. I highly recommend going elsewhere for your medical needs. *** *****s is a much better option.

              Horrible place, very rude employees, made a appointment didn’t get seen till over a hour later with barley any other patients at the office. Would not recommend or coke back!!

              My wife was referred to ******* ********** for a cardiac consultation. Multiple members of her family have heart conditions. Dr. Barbara *****-F**** treated her as if she was just a silly person worrying unduely and did not take her concerns seriously. When Dr F**** submitted the billing to ******** she submitted it as a routine office visit which Medicare will not cover if it is with a specialist. I have visited my own cardiologist for similar reasons and the visit was never billed in such a manner. The result was a $184 bill that we had to pay even though my wife has Medicare and a ******* **********. Multiple attempts to convince ******* ********** to change the coding on the billing to reflect the visit a Consultation received no response at all from ******* ********** or Bon Secour. So, be wary of visiting this doctor or anyone at this practice.

              I was diagnosed with lung cancer and had a routine mammogram done at ******* ****** Center for Breast Health on 8/13/2021 which showed a lump. I had a breast biopsy done by John P***** at ******* ****** Center on 8/23/2021 and he noted the lung cancer which was sent to the pathologist (J Thomas L*****). I was misdiagnosed by J Thomas L***** with breast cancer and sent to a surgeon to have a partial mastectomy, sentinel node removal and then the surgeon was sending me to a radiation oncologist to start 5 weeks of radiation. I went for a second opinion at ****** and found out that I had lung cancer that had metastasized to the breast. It took 5 weeks to sort this mess out. I called Bon Secours grievance telephone number on 11/5/2021 and was told someone would call me back. Never received a call.

              I went to ** ******* Medical Emergency Dept **********, Va after a car accident. After having my vitals taken, I waited over two hours and had to leave. The reception made sure to document that I left without further care and issued me release forms. Three months later, I received a bill for $186 for an EKG I never received. After contacting this ER several times I was told the audit department sent a message over to them that an EKG was issued but no doctor or results were documented… Not only is this illegal but the hospital needs more over-site and to overturn this incorrect, irresponsible, detrimental and stressful decision with a full apology. I will not go there again and fear how many other patients have been billed for services they never received and being forced to pay when the service was clearly not rendered…HELP!!
