I bought a car from them that I had to replace a motor water pump and radiator within the first month of purchase, then during them fixing my car they recked my car. They said they would fix what they wrecked but when my insurance lapsed they are now telling me that they will not fix it. Tim is very rude and hangs up on me whenever I ask questions about the car. Out of 3 months that I have had the car, I have only been able to drive it for about 1 month! They are scammers and very unprofessional! Tim needs some training on conflict-resolution if he wants to play the role as a manager.Deal Depot Inc. Response

Ms. *******…. mechanical issues never come at a good time and are frustrating, we understand that. Unfortunately, when selling used cars sometimes it takes putting substantial mileage on a vehicle before a mechanical issue reveals itself. We have a multi-layered quality control process in place to minimize this, in addition to the fact that we often, as in your case, go above and beyond to help our customers if they run into a mechanical issue immediately after the sale, which is rare. In your case, we serviced your transmission, changed the oil again, cleaned your throttle body, and replaced your TCM all at NO cost to you in good faith to address the issues you brought to our attention immediately after the sale. You contacted us again after putting over 2,500 miles on the vehicle, and we honored your 50/50 limited powertrain warranty and replaced your engine. In another show of good faith, you did not have your full 50%, so we then allowed you to put a down payment on your 50% of the warranty and set up arrangements with you to pay it in weekly installments. After receiving your vehicle back, we received notification that your insurance was cancelled. After notifying you, you advised us day after day that you were clearing it up, however you never sent proof of insurance as requested. No lender will allow a vehicle to remain on the road without insurance. Unfortunately, because of your failure to provide proof of proper coverage or park the vehicle here, we had no choice other than to secure the vehicle. In regards to the damage to the vehicle, that you allege we caused, after looking at your vehicle, it is clear to our mechanics and to our Service Manager that this was not caused by us. It is never our desire for a relationship to end contentiously with our customers. I think the efforts highlighted above demonstrate our commitment to professionalism and our willingness to go above and beyond for our customers. All we ask is that our customers work with us in a reasonable fashion, and we can overcome 100% of obstacles we face as we have done successfully for the 22 years we have been in business.Customer Response

So to reply back, I did not put 2500 miles on my car , deal depot had to keep driving it for 1 week to see what was wrong with it after I had given them a paper from a mechanic stating it was the transmission computer and that was 2 WEEKS after purchase!! And then I have emails and recording proof that the service manager (Clint) and Crystal telling me they are going to fix the bumper that their mechanics broke! So another lie!! And then when trying to explain that to Tim was ridiculous because he is so rude and hung up on me 3 TIMES!! WAIT that is really how you allow your business to be ran???? That is the ONLY reason I VOLUNTARILY gave the car back. If you would actually listen to your customers, I am one of many that he is completely unprofessional with and I believe if he would get more education on how to handle situations and LISTEN to customers you would not have such a bad reputation within the community! Everyone says heck no do not go their because of TIM!Review from Kim B

In June of 2021 we went to look at a 2010 **** ****** that was sitting on the lot at Deal Depo. The car had been put on a hold with $100 dollars. During this time we noticed a few issues with the car after test driving it. We addressed issues with how the car was running hard and requesting for the transmission to be checked as well as anything that could possibly be the issue. We then found out it was the tensioner. The tires was worn and one was flat. This was also a requested fix with new ones. After having the car a few days we where able to go pick it up with reassurance from their staff that everything was fixed! This was a LIE! The first day it was taken off the lot it encounter issues. We reached out to Deal depot who suggested we take it to ******* which is their preference repair shop. ******* checked the car and they reported that it needed a new tensioner system which was the same thing that Deal depot claim to had fixed days prior! We called them again once again about this issue. ******* fixed the issue. A little bit out from purchase date the bumper fell down while it was being driven on the highway! We called addressed this issue with Deal Depot and was given the run around. Again addressed this issue and tried to get estimates. The bumper had to be tapped up to drive it. We ended up getting it fixed and then the car gave out on power. We had it towed home and was able to get it jump started. Afterwards it lost power to pull and would not go over 10 miles hr. We had it towed home and was able to get it jump started. Afterwards it lost power to pull and would not go over 10 miles hr. We called about the issue and it was a back and forth about getting it towed to them because they really didn't want to pay for the tow. The very last issue of it losing power and being unsafe was when I tried to drive it to them and it cut off while I was trying to turn into their lot and on going traffic could have hit me.Deal Depot Inc. Ms. ****** you purchased a 2010 **** ****** on 6/1/21 with a 12 month or 12,000 mile limited powertrain warranty. On 6/4/21 we were contacted by you about a tensioner, check engine light, and asked to check your transmission. None of these items were covered under your warranty however we replaced the serpentine belt and tensioner at no cost to you as a show of our good faith on 6/8/21. In November of 2021, you called us complaining about similar issues and we referred you to ******* **** *** ********** and agreed to cover the cost of anything related to the tensioner and belt we had replaced as well as honor the any warranty related issues with our 50% as agreed upon. It turned out to be your output shaft externally in your transmission that was leaking. This was not warranty related. On 8/12/22 you came in and spoke to me and made me aware of the fact that the vehicle was originally for your 17-year-old son and that the bumper had fell off and the vehicle would not crank. The warranty was exhausted at this point, but I agreed to have our technicians take a look at the vehicle and get you the cost to repair. The mechanical issue turned out to be electric and we identified an electrical contractor and I relayed his cost to you. You declined and advised instead you would be voluntarily surrendering the vehicle. Repossessions do not benefit us, and it is our sincere desire that every customer successfully complete the terms of their contract and get their title. We went above and beyond our contractual obligation to make this happen for you and unfortunately you decided our efforts were not enough. We wish you the best of luck as you move forward.
