    On Sat April 1st my wife and I went to Mike Hovart Chevrolet looking for a cargo van because my wife needs to lay down at times or pull over to get sleep. She's disabled. They told us ***** **** are hard to come by because of covid. Later that day they called and told us they could have one in couple of days. It was a 2021 *** ******* ***** *** with 44,000 miles and it was a one owner. they made us feel like we had to take it if they brought it in. They claimed that they would hual it in to keep the miles off of it. they said they he ( sales manager at that time) knew someone from WV. That sales manager is no longer there. They had the fluids changed in the shop. Apparently they didn't check the struts or the transmission. We feel like they knew the struts and the transmission was bad to begin with. My wife drove it to her doctors in NC twice (2hour drive going and 2hours back) and both times it jumped into passing gear both timesShe also has it on her phone camera.First time we took it in their diagnostic machine wasn't working. Second time we had it checked out they said it wasn't showing up on their machine to bring it back if it happens again and leave it running. My wife drives during the night at times coming back late from NC and I fear of her breaking down. She's not able to walk far. We also have her a bed and her personal items in the van. Its's really impossible to leave it running. We found out through research the 1 owner was a renter of this van. We have pictures of a faint 19.99. The paper work was already to be signed before handed the keys. They sold us a warranty that was bumper to bumper for 3 years or 36,000 miles. We just found out that we were wronged about the warrenty, it wouldn't even cover the struts. We feel like we were taking advantage of on a lemon that we have no confidence in. At 744.85 a month we can't afford payments and repairs. I also would like to say my credit is outstanding and I would like to keep it that way.Thanks James

    I brought my car (purchased at another dealership) to this dealership so I could use the warranty I had on my vehicle. I will never come to this dealership. My mom and I had a 3 way call with Mike Hovart and he is one of the most condescending, rude people I have had to deal with. Rewind to when I took it there originally, they had it for 2 months "fixing" it and then they said I had to pay $2400 for a part the warranty wouldn't cover. I paid it and they fixed it and not even a month later, I was still having the same issue so I took it back so they could see what's going on and when I took it back, they said I need to just get another car. I will make sure to tell anyone in the market for another vehicle to not go to Mike Hovart Chevrolet because they will tell you anything necessary to get money, even when they know the vehicle isn't worth paying for. They have the worst communication. They told me it was finished being worked on and then I went to pick it up the first time and it still wasn't actually done. Mike Hovart needs some lessons in customer service because how he immediately started talking to me was not how you rectify a situation.
