My first personal business was with Adema began in 1975, and the latest was this week to perform a seasonal inspection on a furnace they installed 10 years ago. Their technician, Dave, professionally inspected and corrected an issue thus avoiding a major problem. I recommend Adema. "**" ***** - past member of the Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers.

Got good, prompt service on a weekend. Technician Dave was able to isolate the problem and provide a fix immediately. He explained each step of what he was doing and upon completion what he had done. I’m delighted with this company!

I recently upgraded my air conditioner and furnace and received 5 quotes. 4 out of the 5 advertise discounts and sales all the time. Now I know why. Adema actually came in quite lower than the other 4. The other 4 almost doubled to being 2 grand more for they same units (or comparable). Service was excellent from beginning to end. I will always use them.

If you want a company that will leave your problem unresolved and charge you an arm and a leg, look no further! My husband and I called Adema for after hours service due to our furnace blowing cold air. The pilot light on our hot water tank was also out and would not relight, so we made sure to point this out to our technician as we did not know if the issue could be related. The technician told us our furnace was fine, attempted to clean the hot water tank, replaced the thermocouple on the hot water tank, then left, stating we would need a plumber. We spent a 20 degree night with no heat. The next morning we called a different company who does plumbing and furnace maintenance, and they noticed immediately that the heat sensor in our furnace was dirty, told us nothing was wrong with the plumbing on the hot water tank, and left 15 minutes later with both machines functioning perfectly. They even showed my husband how to clean the sensor in the future. Two weeks later I get a bill in the mail from Adema for $555. $199 for a service call fee (despite the issue not being addressed), $243 for a thermocouple, $69 to clean the hot water tank. I called and gave them the opportunity to make this right, given that the problem that we called for was not corrected and according to the other company, was a fast and simple fix. The other company charged us $80 total. We were willing to even meet Adema halfway, given the part that was replaced on the HWT. They were completely unwilling to work with us. I am astounded that the simple issue with our furnace was not identified or addressed. Unless you love to throw money out the window, please do not call Adema for any of your heating or cooling needs!

This company sent me a quote to replace low hanging heating pipes in my basement with PEX piping. I was sent a quote, but never signed a contract as I wished to discuss the cost with the sales representative. Instead they scheduled and went forward with the work. I meanwhile researched the cost and learned it was higher than average for Erie County. They refused to discuss and held their ground on the original quote. I sent them 2/3 of the price they wanted and they are pursuing legally against me for the total. In short they Overcharge and proceed without contract. I felt "railroaded".
