Their homes are OK. Work isn’t best. Lots of shortcuts. Be ready to come up with around $20,000 a day or 2 before closing. They don’t give you receipts for these extras or even explain. There customer service is poor.

Building a home from out of state can be very difficult but we did it with executive to trust their processes and build expertise to give us a great home at a great price with little decision making because we weren't local. Last year we bought an Executive Home, and now we're buying another Executive Home in a new location closer to my aging parents and husband's work. They know how to design and style beautiful homes that are timeless. After our first home buying experience with them, we learned they are very much in demand and for a good reason. We also love the quality of the houses they build. The designs on the outside and inside far surpass other home builders. I love their style choices and their relevance with today's homebuyer. Their neighborhoods are impressive, and we are proud to be owners of an Executive Home.

We were not happy with Executive Homes. Once you close, do not expect them to fix very much. Do a thorough pre-closing walkthrough and insist that they fix everything before you close. Our tiles in our master bath do not match - it's quite obvious - and Executive Homes would not take responsibility for it. The tile is throughout the floor and in the shower - quite disappointing to have some grayish tiles and some creamy tiles. Executive Homes also did not install waterproofing behind the ceramic tiles and grout in the shower - there will be mold and possibly termites and in 10 to 15 years it will fail. Our coffered ceiling beams and crown molding have huge cracks due to the wood shrinking. They drilled the wrong size hole for the dishwasher switch in our granite island so the switch kept falling out. The front row of ceramic tiles on the tub surround separates from the rest of the tiles in the winter, making a huge gap. The roofing material where the dryer vent penetrates the roof was not sealed properly, and we now have $3,450 in water damage to the ceiling and wood floor. We are having to re-do our master bath as a result. It will cost us about $35,000 to retile, rebuild the shower, and install a tub.
