On May 1, 2014 your BBB recognized businesses who demonstrate the highest standards of business practices at the annual Torch Awards luncheon which was held at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa.

BBB Torch AwardsEach award is open to for-profit businesses who are physically located or do business within BBB's five-county service area (Pima, Santa Cruz, Cochise, Greenlee, or Graham Counties.)

The Ethics Award: Honors a business for its outstanding level of ethics in all business dealings.

Good Neighbor Award  Honors a business that has shown a commitment to making southern Arizona a better place through community service. The business and employees play a significant role in support of local charities.

Customer Excellence Award Honors a business that has an outstanding customer service program and a history of exceeding customers' expectations. This award is open only to BBB Accredited Businesses in southern Arizona.

The Foundation for a Better Life promotes positive values through the media. Their public service announcements, based on values such as home, honesty, encouragement and generosity are currently being seen on television in the United States over five million times each day. They are also airing in over 200 countries around the world. The foundation makes posters and DVDs available to thousands of schools each year, at no charge. It offers these messages in an effort to promote good values, good role models and a better life.
