My roofing company subcontracted to ABCO Solar in Oct 2023 to remove then reinstall my solar panels. We had several issues with this company:1- When they first came to remove the solar panels, I was told that my solar inverters were blinking red, indicating a problem. This was not true, but we discovered this later.2- They investigated the reason for the red light. They, particularly their manager ***********************, told me it was because improper wiring and incorrect breakers placed for the solar panels. ***** recommended replacing our commercial solar breaker with a residential breaker. I ok'ed all work, and was charged $500. I asked for a receipt but was provided none. Despite asking multiple times by phone, text and email over 4 months.3- my husband checked the inverters, and the inverters were blinking orange not red. Orange means the inverters were not being monitored. This we verified with the inverter company to be true.4- we ordered a monitor for our inverters and asked ***** and ABCO Solar to provide with mapping for our inverters. 4 months later, despite phone calls, texts and emails this has not been provided.5- we asked ABCO Solar to sign a lien waiver. 4 months later despite phone calls, texts and emails this has not been provided.6- I spoke to *********************** Jan 19 ****. He no longer works for ABCO Solar. I can not rely on ABCO Solar to diagnose a solar issue correctly, charge me for their work honestly, and respond to reasonable requests.
