Friday 9/8/23, the HOA property mngmnt. co., Bidegain Realty, hired a landscaping business to cut down all the Italian Cypress trees on the property, without asking the homeownwers if this was acceptable or even giving the homeowners any notification, not to mention having no regard for the environment, energy savings & the ecosystem. While some of the landscapers were chipping the trees, another one was blowing debris about. All of a sudden, I was smelling noctuous fumes & went in the house where I could still smell them. It was not possible to identify the smell, but I attributed it to the landscapers' activity...until this morning, when I still smelled it by the honeysuckle vine in front of my house, at which point it occurred to me that it had been poisoned, due to a contention the HOA has with me training it on a trellis to reach the 2nd floor. They like to site structural issues it will cause, though it is no heavier than Christmas decorations one might put up. I have been the target of an unnecessary & vicious attack from the HOA regarding the number of plants that are in front of my house, with no understanding or compassion for them being fruit & vegetable plants for supplementing the family's diet. There are other home owners who have plants in front of their house, but they have taken issue with mine. They also complained about a mosquito netting cover on the patio, responsibly keeping our cats from roaming the neighborhood, which was taken down, at their request & a series of tubes & geometric enclosures that connect together were put up in their place. This too is unacceptable to the HOA, even though we are being responsible pet owners. I feel we are being discriminated against & want them to drop their campaign against us, including removing a certified mailing charge that we are being asked to pay, even though it was their business decision to send a certified letter. I also think they should repair the damage they have done by planting more trees.
