      I wish you could give this hospital zero stars. It is the absolute worst!! This hospital has had me and my husband running in circles THREE years after giving birth to our daughter! After giving my information and my drivers license to them in the ER, they still managed to mess up my information and never once reached out to try and correct or resolve the issue. Instead they are just trying to stick us with the amount owed and make it impossible to get in touch with to ever try and resolve the situation. My husband and I are both in health care and understand that you can make mistakes, but no one is owning up to it and they have now sent it to collections. They have the worst customer service I have ever encountered! Not to mention we received AWFUL care during delivery and after in mother and baby! My daughter was almost killed after letting her sit in the Birth canal for over 3 hours because they were, "too busy" to have someone come and deliver her!! Absurd! They repeatedly kept telling me unless I feel the need to push, that she is fine. I had an epidural! I would never have felt anything and even after telling them this, they still left us for hours. I would NEVER recommend this hospital to any one. Best of luck if you get stuck at this hospital. ProMedica Toledo hospital is by far the worst.

      If I was able to give this place zero stars I absolutely would. Dealing with his hospital from our awful care while I was there giving birth in July to dealing with customer service for the past five months disputing our bill and trying to get it even ran through our insurance has been an absolute nightmare. I had to get the itemized bill and send it to my insurance company because the hospital would not and to top it all off they still don't have my insurance information correct even though I've given it to them at least four times even sending it in an email to customer service. I complained to the nursing supervisor about our care and was sent a letter that said the care I received was in line with their standards of care, which must be very low. After giving birth my bleeding was checked a few times by the third shift nurse and once my first shift nurse came in I was not checked again her whole shift until they were transferring me to a different room. They repeatedly lanced my newborn's feet and even gouged his feet to run bilirubin tests on him. The lab did not get to his blood samples quickly enough and his blood hemolyzed and they had to do the same test again. His feet are scarred now due to this. They tried drawing from his hand and wrist and blew those veins and ended up drawing more blood from his head. For a hospital that has a NICU they did a very poor job in taking care of our newborn. We were told we'd have the results of his testing within an hour and ended waiting six hours to even get the results and speak to the doctor because the lab labeled his tests for the wrong day. And this is all only snippets of the issues we encountered. Now I'm getting the run around from this hospital that demanding I pay on this almost $45,000 bill or they will send it to collections even though I'm disputing it and have been since July. Absolutely awful, I'm so disappointed. This hospital is terrible and I will never go back. I have and will continue to discourage anyone I know from going to this hospital for care. If you have the option to go anywhere else, do so, do not go here.
