My spine specialist at the Cleveland Clinic prescribed a home traction machine for me for my neck. On or about September 15, 2021 I purchased the unit from DARAH MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES LLC, but sought to have my ***** Medicare insurance pay for 80% of the cost as per my Evidence of Coverage contract. Darah REFUSED to file the claim and wait for the reimbursement because they claimed ***** would not pay the claim. They forced me to pay the full $599.00 before they would ship me the unit, and they said they would refund the money to my credit card IF ***** paid. I have learned from ***** TODAY (2/18/2022) that they paid Darah $479.20 for the original $599 claim (the 80% that is *****'s responsibility), but in addition Darah has been billing them $60 for September, October, November, December of 2021 and $63.05 for January 2022. ***** has paid the 2021 claims IN ERROR at $48 per month, so Darah has collected $479.20 + $192 =$671.20 for a $599 claim and continues to FRAUDULENTLY collect more! I have not been refunded one penny even though I have demanded that in writing as per the attached documentation. Darah owes me $479.20 to be credited to my credit card or refunded to me by check. They owe ***** $192 for the overcharges, plus they should cease and desist AT ONCE any further billing to ***** and retract the January bill that has not yet been paid.
