High school students may apply for the BBB's Student of Ethics award, which recognizes exceptional ethics, leadership, service and academic achievement.

Better Business Bureau Serving Eastern & Southwest Missouri & Southern Illinois Student of Ethics Award Program recognizes high school students who personify high ethics demonstrated through leadership, community service, overall personal integrity and academic history.

Students will be selected by an independent panel of judges. Scholarships must be used within three years of receiving the award, and will be distributed to the student’s college or trade school upon verification of enrollment. The scholarship must be applied toward school-related expenses, including: tuition, books, room and board or other related items.

Students should apply in their junior year of high school; the awards will be presented to students i ntheir senior year of high school. Applications are currently open to high school juniors who will be graduating in Spring of 2019.

Award certificates will be presented to recipient students at the BBB’s TORCH Awards events.  BBB will pay for each student  winner to attend the event and will provide two additional tickets for the student’s parents or guests.

All applications are due on June 22, 2018.
