Not a good company to get involved with. They operate a rent-to-own home program but are expecting buyer's to purchase homes that they are offering well above their actual appraisal and at "purchase as is" type of agreements. All of the homes that I did a walk-thru needed major amounts of work. They are targeting consumers that are unable to buy homes in traditional ways. I think they are hoping you are desperate enough to not read the fine print. If you do not get an inspection yourself, they consider that your problem and will again reference the "purchase as is" clause in the agreement. The home we purchased has major water and drainage issues causing the basement to flood. Minimal repairs were made to basically appease us and they moved on. Our major fear is that at the end of the 3 year agreement, we will not be able to secure a mortgage from a traditional bank because the home will not pass inspection. They had no response to this concern. We had communication issues with the "real estate advisor" that was assigned to us but no other company employee would answer our calls or emails. Bottom line, go with a different rent-to-own company if you are considering this route to home ownership. Nothing but a nightmare and frustration.

Sorry you have changed your mind from being satisfied with the experience to suddenly unhappy. I'd like to touch on a few points mentioned here. First, for clients convenience they were allowed to occupy the house early. While there, client began to rip out areas of the house and were not qualified to do this kind of repair. Even the electrical had been tampered with. At our expense we replace bathroom subfloor and tile, replaced vanity and installed new shower pan. Furthermore we sent plumbers there to deal with any water issues but were delayed because an electrician was needed to fix the wiring. We installed a new sump pump and well and graded the yard. Today as far as we know all repairs have been complete and client was happy after talking with the agent, in fact this client spoke with several associates at Three Doors. Secondly, we provide housing for families who have had credit problems caused by factors mostly out of their control. Examples include 2020 layoffs, divorce, student debt, self-employed and many other reasons that banks will say you don't deserve a home of your own. Our lease Purchase Program has helped many families become home owners and our program includes an interest free down payment loan you won't find with other companies. There is no "fine print" anyone buying an as is home has the option to get an inspection. Furthermore, this municipality does not require an occupancy permit which is another reason to get an inspection. Three Doors gladly will fix any and all repairs that are requested and agreed upon in the contract.We are pleased with our track record of helping families achieve the American Dream.
