I had a Four Seasons sunroom built by Patriot Sunroom in ****. The sunroom itself seems well built but they guarantee that the glass will not Crack or break. Mine cracked and finally after back and forth conversations with them saying they were not responsible they did come out and replace the glass. Now my French door handle broke and they want to charge me $1854.00 for a door handle and installation. I could replace the entire door for that price. I'm very disappointed in this situation.

Patriot Sunrooms prides itself on customer service and our reputation. Although part of her concern is true, other offers we have made are not listed here.Based on the customization of the room and the door, another door will not work that isn't from the original manufacture. Our proposal is for the custom lock, if that's what is agreed upon and if that is what is wrong with the door. We offered two other suggestions that are not noted. One, a reduced price on the replacement handle/lock, we reduced the price over $300.00. This is a custom lock mechanism, it is not one you can buy over the counter.Secondly, we offered our normal service fee to come to the home and see if the handle could be fixed, that fee was $225.00. If the lock could not be fixed, that fee would be applied to the invoice of an entire replacement.It was our understanding after our conversation with her on Friday, Oct. 6th, that she was going to talk it over with her son and get back with us as to how to proceed. We feel that this complaint is premature in that we offered some ideas on how to proceed with the service. Finally, I am not sure why the glass issue came into place on this complaint, we do not guarantee that our glass will not brake, we however, warranty glass brakeage if it falls under the manufacture's guidelines. In this case, it appeared that it did, and we replaced the glass. We will honor our reduced price on replacement hardware, if that is needed, and we still will honor the site visit for the $225.00 (our normal service fee for labor) if our customer will allow us to see if the hardware/door issue can be fixed with a service call.Review from Joan M

I have had trouble with a Patriot Sunroom that has been defective and getting worse. I had it inspected twice in 2019 when it was first built. It leaked and it took forever for them to repair it. Even in the beginning it appeared that the space for the window and doors were not a rectangle so the windows and doors do not fit and leave gaping open areas for outside air. This has gotten worse. The doors hardly close and if they do it's very difficult to re open them' The outside screen doors keep coming off. The heater/ Air conditioner stopped working after 6 months. ITs been a disaster and I have not been able to get someone out to check it from the company. They canceled an appointment on the day it was scheduled and now say I need to pay $220 before they will come out to check it. ** **** ********* ** *****
