    I have had this car for 4 months and it has been in an out of their shop for 3 months with various issues including the emergency brakes, transfer case and transmission issues and fuel injector sensors.  Every time I bring it to the shop and drive it home the check engine lights immediately come back on within a day.  The car has came to a screeching halt in the middle of the expressway and my wife no longer feels safe to drive the car.  I have only been able to drive the car for a month.  I have begged and pleaded with them to provide me another car of equal value and I would be willing to pay the difference in price.  I paid $50,000 for the car, $8000 down and made 4 payments of $1000 a month.  They told me they could only get me into another car if I paid them $10,000.  I should not have to lose all the money I have paid for a car I've only been able to drive for a month because of their failure to repair it.

    On Saturday 8/21/21 I went to Munganest Lexus of St. Louis shopping for a 2021 Lexus ** 350. They said they did not have what I wanted and that the ** was hard to get. I then went to ***** Lexus and found the car I was looking for. I made the deal with ***** and made arrangement to come on Monday 8/23/21 and get the new car. On my way down to Plaza, Munganest called and asked as a favor if I would come in and let them have another opportunity. I had purchased 4 previous Lexus for them and felt it was only fair to give them a chance. Upon arriving they appraised my car and said they could not beat or match the deal. This was fine. We left and went to ***** where I was told the Mungenast Sales Manager had communicated to them that my trade was not worth what they had given me on the trade and that they would not honor the deal. Later that day I called the General Manager at ***** and told him what had happened. He asked if I would bring my car in and let them appraise it (until this time no one at ***** had seen my trade). After appraising my car ( which was $4000 higher than Mungenast) they made me the same deal as we had on Saturday. We them leased the car from Plaza. I think it is very unprofessional of Mungenast to try and destroy another deal. Apparently this was done because we had not purchased the 5th car from them. I spoke with the General Manager at Munganest and explained what had happened. He said he would look into it. I have not heard anything in 3 days.
