      We have purchased produce items on multiple occasions in the last 4 months from the ********** **** Harter house, and we have had lettuce that was black inside and rotten two times, and we have had potatoes that the cashier caught one time telling us they were rotten, get another bag, and then last week we purchased another bag of golden potatoes and two days later they had a white mold on them. The produce is not stored properly or checked at all. We have complained to the store, they advise that they were having produce issues the first time, the 2nd time it was produce issues and this time I was told it was not their fault and they would let the produce manager know. I advised them I want to talk with someone, this is bad and they need a new manager or someone needs to be trained. If it is a supply issue, you have to change, you cannot give out rotten produce and not care to customers, you are going to cause someone to get very sick and I will give a copy of this to the news agencies if it happens. You need to take responsibility for this, correct it. If you cannot provide proper safe food, fire from the top down and find someone who can. Call me please, I want to discuss this, and better yet, have the CEO go to the store and let customers pull out the rotten produce and let that CEO take it home to eat. This is beyond tolerable

      Harter House Hollister Missouri On 4/16/2023 Harter House charged my card twice for the purchase of $72.65. They also charged me for two items I did order 20.00 this again was a problem as they charged $20.00 to my card. When I called to bring this to their attention they were very rude to me. We have had a home in Branson since 2008 and have had many friendly employees. It is amazing that they have such friendly employees with great attitudes, smiling faces and wonderful customer service. The manager ***** just said to wait seven days for one of the charges to drop off. The $20.00 for the tenderloins he said that we had received the tenderloins and there would not be reimbursement for the mistake. I sent the manager Les an email explaining what had happened. Instead of responding he left for the day. I asked to speak to another manager. A manager picked up and started calling me hon. He did this several times and I asked him not to address me as hon. I attempted to explain the issues to him. He told me that I just didn’t understand the situation. I understood very well and let him know that I had 35 years of experience in customer service and also refunds to guests that had been overcharged and I always treated the 120 employees and our guests in a respectful manner. What happened next was unbelievable. He said I was taking too much of his time and accused me of harassment. I don’t think that trying to request a refund is harassment. Then he accused me of trying to get things for free. That definitely wasn’t what I asked for. I simply wanted them to fix the problem. I had two emails that had been sent to me with itemized and had the exact purchase ,items, and total charges. He was very condescending and instead of apologizing or attempting to make things right; it honestly felt that I was being bullied. He also said my experience was was not comparable to this situation. I did say to him it was very relevant and that good customer service is very important
