This company is refusing to cover my Audi 2013 with a oil leak. It's covered but they said it's improperly repaired by other place. We bought directly from ******** with Tru Warranty. We only taken it to Audi for Maintenance. So they are trying to find a way to not repair.TruWarranty Response

I was required to purchase this insurance to obtain my vehicle loan. My vehicle was declared a total loss in November and when I attempted to use my GAP insurance to pay the remainder of the loan they denied. Initially they said that my vehicle had been refinanced or something else which was inaccurate. I appealed again and they stated the vehicle was undervalued by the insurance company so I was again denied. The loan company wants their money. I can't get another loan to buy a car.Review from Joshua J

This company is a ripoff. I purchased the true warranty extended warranty on my 2014 F-150 when I purchased it from the lot. A year after having the truck I had some major engine issues, all of which are covered under the policy of my warranty. I took it to a dealership with certified technicians. They diagnose the problem and sent all of the paperwork to true warranty to be approved for repair. True warranty sent out a private technician to review their findings and he agreed that the fix they had presented was proper and needed to be done. Two days later. True warranty declined and denied our claim saying that the issue was known by ****. Therefore, they were not responsible to fix it. Again, everything that needed to be fixed was covered under my policy. This company is a scam and a rip-off and should be shut down!Review from Michael G

I bought the gap coverage, 3 months later my car was totaled I was out the car and the money still owed on it. They denied claim. It was a hit and run accident I was not at fault. I will never use this company or recommend itTruWarranty Response

At the time of used car purchase I was told that I have to purchase the ExoBundle warranty, otherwise they won't sell me the car. I called the Truwarranty number and was told to simply fill the cancellation form. I purchased the car and filled the form. The answer was "your warranty cannot be cancelled, contact the dealer". I contacted the dealer and they refuse to cancel too. 3980$ for fake warranty. I will seek a legal help in this case, for sure!TruWarranty Response

The customer submitted an online cancellation request after business hours on Friday, August 11. On Monday, August 14, truWarranty confirmed in writing to the customer that they would honor the request and truWarranty voided the contract. truWarranty made the dealership aware of the cancellation request on August 14 and advised the customer that the dealership is responsible for the refund as they are the party currently in possession of the funds. truWarranty was never paid for the customers contract so cannot issue a refund.TruWarranty Response

This place doesnt deserve not one ****** star. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS WARRANTY THEY WILL NOT COVER REPAIRS!!! WITH THESE CHEAP A******* IS LIKE HAVING NO WARRANTY AT ALL. This warranty company was THE BIGGEST MISTAKE I MADE. On the first inspection, the customer had a claim denial for continued operation in a failed state low on coolant with a leaking radiator, as well as vehicle overheating condition.The customer took the vehicle to a second facility and on the second inspection was confirmed that an additional **************************************************** a failed state.Review from James S

I purchased a car and a warranty. I paid off car and then sold it. Truwarranty refuses to refund the balance of unused warranty. They atate I can get the money from the dealer or loan company. The money for the warranty was paid to them by the loan company and they are keeping the balance. They are crooked. I will never buy another warranty from any company again.TruWarranty Response

The customer submitted his cancellation through our website. That submission let us know they no longer want our warranty. We forward all the paperwork to the dealership, and they are responsible for the cancellation, the process can take up to six weeks.
The dealership in this case hasn't canceled the customer's contract yet.
The customer has financed the vehicle, the amount financed includes the warranty and the vehicle purchased. When the policy is canceled the refund transaction will be between the dealer and the lien holder. The dealer will be responsible for refunding the money to the lien holder. If the vehicle it's paid off, with no lien, they will refund the warranty to the customer.
We recommend the customer contacts the dealership directly for cancellation updates.TruWarranty Response

My Cadillac had to get serviced for the transmission and while there they found out that the cam camshaft was bad so I called the warranty and they said that they would cover that as well but due to the fact it would need a services technician from the warranty company look at it they would need to tear it apart again. I needed my car to drive and also needed to test the transmission. When I returned it the warranty decided they wouldnt cover it because Im just over the mileage so now my vehicles tour part at the dealership, the warranty will not cover it and I dont have the funds to pay for it and it was all due to the approval of the lady on the phone telling me that the warranty would cover it being fixed.TruWarranty Response

The customer and repair facility were informed that we had received a repair order and estimate that was before the mileage expiration a claim would be covered. We are being informed after the contract is expired that they "diagnosed it before the expiration". We have not received anything in writing to validate this. Mileage at time of call in was more than **** miles after contract expiration.
