Didn't verify identity and agreed to send medical document billing to person not verified. Refused to send verification of debt after disclosing they did something illegal.

Her allegations are not true, we always verify who we are speaking to. We have already sent her proof of debt and verified her information matches what the client has. She harassed one of the agents here so we had to quit responding to her.Review from Raven P

They are a debt collection agency and I understand it's not the most fun job in the world. Any time I inquire, I get hung up on, pretty unprofessional. They told me I have over $2K in debt, pay it. Very unprofessional. There is no management. I am a normal citizen trying to pay off this debt. I set it up through my bank to avoid the fees. They charge fees if they put the payment through and I got hung up on thrice trying to talk to them.M C A Management Co. Response

We have been talking to ***** since 12/9/21 (when she hung up on us and was very rude). She has not made one payment on her 3 outstanding balances going back to 2019. The urgent care has been nice enough to keep seeing her even though she hasn't paid them. We offered her a settlement, but she refused, we told her to call the billing department to see if they would give her a self-pay rate, but she didn't do that. She hasn't made a single payment on her accounts. She called our office 4 times today stating our bank is refusing her money which is not true. She was extremely rude each time she called. Our agents don't deserve to be treated poorly so they are instructed to hang up if someone is treating them like that.Review from Andrew E

******** was amazing to work with. She was kind, polite, and understanding. I wasnt talked down to once during any conversation we had. Horrible customer service of people who yell at you and talk to you like they are better than you. A company illegally reported me to them and they were terrible to work with. I paid my **** in full prior to being sent and the company still sent me. They refused to remove my account when they had proof it was sent in error.M C A Management Co. Response

*irst of all that is not true, as we told her we never yelled at her. She was requesting we delete an account that was a legitimate debt that was owed since 5/28/21 when her first letter went out, then a second letter went out on 8/26/21 and we got it on 9/13/21. She called us on 9/24/21 telling us we had to delete this and we told her no we will post the payment and closeout her account. She said she didn't want a receipt and we told her that is all we can send. We posted the payment and mailed her a receipt. She tried to tell us we didn't know the laws and we had no idea what we were doing but refused to take any blame that the **** was from May and she didn't pay it until September. We didn't put it on her credit or harm her in any way. She was horrible and said she knows the laws and we didn't know what we were talking about and then used the * word at us so we hung up on her.Review from Antoine K.

I reached out this company because a pest control company had sent me to collections. When I contacted this company, they claimed they had a contract with my signature. I asked for a copy. When they sent it over, it had a fake signature and it was on a post-it like paper. It was stated that the services were done monthly for a year and I had not lived in this home for a year. The agent became upset and stated the company was a good company and they were never do that. She became very defensive and didn't want to hear what I had to say. She ended up hanging up on me. I called back immediately and someone said hello and just hung up. Now when I call, it goes to a fax noise or this number is not available. It does the same thing when I call from my wife's phone. I used her phone to call them once. I feel like this is sketchy business practices and I feel like they are in cahoots to scam people.M C A Management Co. Response

First of all, this bill is from 2016 and in 2017 we sent him a copy of the contract that he signed. We tried to call him after we sent the contract, we also sent emails and letters and he never responded until yesterday because it is on his credit. He told us we were a scam and we again explained that we sent him a copy of his contract with our client. He kept calling back and stating we were a scam so we had to block his number since he would not stop calling. We also gave him the number to call the client if he didn't agree with the bill. I have the copy of the contract but there is no place for me to upload it with this response. Please let me know if I need to send it.
