I took my cat to ***************** (the owner) 7-18-23 because she did not want to eat her dry food for what I thought was a bad tooth.An assistant came out to the car (still not allowed inside with pet) and said ***************** wanted a $300 deposit before seeing my pet so I handed her my charge card thinking it was a new policy and wouldn't be anywhere near that to check her teeth.When the assistant came back to my car with my cat I was told they ran a full blood panel and everything looked good and ***************** said her mouth looked a little pink and sent her home with antibiotics and a steroid.The bill was over $350.***************** never came out to talk to me.3 days later I decided to try some canned prescription food and when I picked it up I was given an estimate of $746.85. At that time I decided to take her to The ************* in **** and made an appointment for monday the 24th (6 days after being examined by *****************). *************** at ************* took one look at her and said she has oral cancer no tests were needed and the meds that ***************** gave her would do no good and only stress her more by forcing them down her.I lost my cat 17 days after ***************** examined her and totally missed her condition without a diagnosis.I had been going to Spring Valley since the late 80's when *************** owned it. It is clear ***************** only cares about $$ and not your pet. I would never recommend Spring Valley and wish I had taken my cat to The ************* years ago.Spring Valley failed to diagnose my cat with oral cancer after charging $350 for tests and wanted to charge me $746.85 for dental which was not the problem at all.
