Been taking pets to Northgate since the 1960's.Vets and techs have always been caring, compassionate and patient. The paw plans are great. Saved me thousands of dollars over the years. Pets are treated like one of their own. Try to speak gently with animals to ease any anxiety and calm them. Highly recommend the entire team from Vets to techs, groomers, and front staff.

I recently moved to the area had my pets records transferred to this facility for their care. While I was never super impressed with the treatment we have received, I had felt they at least cared for animals. My older dog has Mast Cell Carcinoma and develops tumors that need to be surgically removed. On my initial visit we discussed three tumors and scheduled the surgery. On the day of surgery I arrived that morning and they stated the Dr just arrived and was getting prepped in the back. They took my dog back and I left. Approximately two hours later, I received a voice mail call from the Vet performing the surgery. It was a different doctor *********** He stated my dog was already under anesthesia and he wanted to review where the tumors were located. On the voicemail he stated I needed to call back within the next few minutes as he couldn't keep her under and could only find 2 of the 3 tumors based on the notes. I was frustrated at this, but in the end my dog did have a successful surgery and the incisions were all clean. Why would he even proceed with the surgery without being sure what he was going to be cutting?? Earlier this past week, my dog impaled her upper tooth into her upper lip. (It curled around and was on there tight all the way to the gum line.) It happened a little over an hour before this facility closed. They refused to see her as they were about to begin to 'wrap up their day.' Instead we had to wait over six hours at an emergency vet office to be treated. When we called the next day to discuss this occurrence they replied that they did nothing wrong. I feel as though they care as much about my pet as they do the breakroom toaster. I have now called three times requesting my pets medical records to be sent to me as we have found a different office for their care. I am still waiting.
