            On 8/3/2023 Sierra LLC sent their technician ************************* to my home to repair my ******* central air condition system which was not cooling. He replaced a part in the outside condensing unit and the system worked fine since. When I received their invoice it showed that the replaced part was a 45+5 ** 400 V motor start capacitor that costs about $15 - $20 in local hardware stores or online. I was charged $468 for that part. I assumed this was a mistake, so I contacted Sierra LLC by email and text message to request a partial refund. Their service manager called me on 8/8/2023 and explained that their $440 markup on the part includes the cost of sending a van and technician to my house, but that should be covered by the $89 they charge for a visit.Total invoice was $501.30 including the visit and 10% senior discount. I am requesting a $440 partial refund.
