There are many exciting and engaging opportunities to volunteer for the BBB of Southern Colorado.

BBB Seeks Volunteer Mediators

For more than 20 years, the BBB Dispute Resolution Program has made it possible for businesses and customers to resolve disputes while avoiding the acrimony and costs of litigation. In the last few years, the demand for our mediation services has grown extensively.

Are you the type of person who can...

  • Listen objectively to an argument and see the salient points of both sides?
  • Ask probing questions to get at the heart of the matter?
  • Break large problems into smaller parts that are easier to understand?
  • Re-state issues so that opposing parties can see them in a new way?
  • Help people take a realistic look at core issues?
  • Find possible solutions to issues?
  • Help people to recognize what is really fact and what is emotion?
  • Keep your head when all around you are losing theirs?

The Better Business Bureau is seeking mediators who meet the above criteria, have completed mediator training, have experience mediating cases on various issues, and are willing to volunteer their time.

In addition to mediation opportunities, there are many other volunteer positions available. For more information on current volunteer positions, please contact:
