    Wells & West General Contractors Inc is a Class A commercial general contractor serving Colorado's southern front range.  Wells & West's goal is to create an intimate relationship with its client.  We want to function as the in-house construction team providing not only the ground up building needs, but also the team to help with regular repairs and maintenance.

    As a Class A contractor we can help with the construction of your multi-story building including design, planning and development, and engineering.

    If your project has already been designed, we can also help with budgeting, and are happy to participate in a competitive bid process.

    a two phase project. I was sold on this project with project dates of completion, along with a selected start date for phase two. This was to plan for down time to reduce the amount of time we would need to close. The bid was $266k for the completion both phases. Phase one consisted of finishing the basement, hvac, sinks, an Ada ******** and kitchen area. Phase two, demo of two existing bathrooms, with two new bathrooms, a reception area, bar sinks and removal of a gas furnace. During phase one The superintendents were never present, overlooking every detail from the subs. Everything from pre hung wiring for cameras and speakers, buried into the insulation and drywall. This was unbelievable. The brand new drywall was hung, and the wires deliberately shoved back up into the walls and ceiling cause the low voltage subs to cut holes in the new drywall to try to dig them out. This took so much time, because there were drywall subs, paint subs, low voltage subs, cause multiple days to fix this issue, create more downtime. They assured me that there would be backing between the tin studs for the cabinets. This was a discussion many times, and somehow the over looked this. Continuing the project putting up drywall and painting. Then hanging glass faced cabinets with screws into tin. This was a huge safety issue. But again over looked. Causing the removal of the cabinets, damage to all the new paint and drywall. Causing another multiple days of downtime. When they hung the cabinets back up, they didnt patch, the drywall, seem or paint. They hung the cabinets right over the holes leaving room for issues in the future. They hired subs for an epoxy floor. The floor was never sealed. It is an unclean-able floor without a finish. This will cost 15k to 17k to fix. I have paid them $142k and we agreed to not continue into phase two. They then charged me with and additional 125k bringing the balance for phase 1 to 275k without phase 2.
