I contracted with the ************* O'Briens for luxury vinyl and carpet. They asked for 100% payment up front, but I only paid 80% - THANK GOODNESS!! The vinyl installer arrived 3 hours late, stating they had double booked him. I had no idea it was a 2-day job, and arrived home at the end of day 1 to find approximately one quarter of the work done. He did finish the remaining work on the second day, but had to come back once to fix a few things. The carpet, on the other hand, was a night mare. I came home to find 2 obvious seams running right across a highly trafficked area, my coffee table and dog bed had been left outside in the rain, a mess because they had not cleaned up, and the workers gone. The installers came back a second time to fix the seams. When I came home, the seams were still there and now the carpet was not even attached under the strip connecting the vinyl flooring. To top it off, the sales person had been sitting there the entire time. O'Briens then brought in an experienced carpet layer who had to show the installer how to lay the carpet. They had to completely tear out and replace what they had put in. They then had to find a furniture refinisher to fix my coffee table. This entire ordeal took 48 days - from when the vinyl work began until I received my coffee table back. Less than 1 week after I got my coffee table back I received a text from the sales person requesting my final payment. Seriously? 6 weeks of inconvenience for me, yet no mention of compensation for that. I DON'T recommend this company for your flooring needs.
