Very disappointed in the service we’ve received. I’ve had a contract with the company for 3 years now. They have never made all of their visits, yet I’m still required to pay them. They say they will discount the next year but again this has never happened and why would I want to continue to renew when I’m paying for services not rendered. This year they came out two times, one of which I had to call them 6 months into my contract to come out. This is the second time I’ve received a letter from the county stating my contract with them has expired. Making me think they are the ones reporting this. My contract doesn’t expire until 7/27 yet the county letter states it expired on 7/19. I have a message into the county and will be discussing that ACE wastewater does not perform the service contract as they state they do. Also after further research I have found that single family home owners are able to maintain their own systems. Here’s the expert from Jefferson county on maintenance >” (4) Exceptions to maintenance contract. At the end of the initial two-year service policy, the owner of an OSSF for a single family residence shall either maintain the system personally or obtain a new maintenance contract.” “ (4) The owner of an OSSF for a single family residence who elects to maintain their unit through the exemption described in subsection (d)(4) of this section is not subject to testing and reporting requirements.” Ace waste water puts on their contract that “annual service contracts are required by state law and enforced by Jefferson county, chambers county, and tceq”. I would highly suggest finding another company, one that is going to honor their customers and contracts. It’s sad that this company feels they can take advantage of people. Hoping I can save someone some money.
