I purchased a double wide mobile home from ******* ***** in Lake Charles, LA. The dealership used Roberts Mobile Home Services to transport, place, connect, block up, level, and tie down the mobile home pieces. I spent $11,075.00 on dirtwork to prepare the housepad and property for delivery. I also spent another $7,400.00 for driveway coverage. It was intentional that the housepad was adjacent to the driveway to avoid runoff from rainwater that would occur if it was only dirt. The house pad was staked out so that the movers would know exactly where the trailer was to be placed. On Thursday May 6th, 2021, Roberts Mobile Home Services transported the pieces of my double wide trailer to my property, but would come back later to finish the placement, connection, blocking, and leveling. On 05/18/21 Roberts Mobile Home Services came back to finish the job but did not place the house in the staked position. I complained to the dealership, and a representative contacted Roberts Mobile Home Services and Mr. ****** *** himself agreed to pay for more driveway material to be placed along the side of the house where his mistake was going to cause an issue. Mr. ****** came to my house to look at the issue, he told me directly that he did not want to move the trailer into the correct location because it was alot of work, he even suggested that he'd rather pay to put down more rock. I got a quote for the work to be done, contacted Mr. ****** on 01/13/22 and he told me to email him the quote. On 02/03/22 I contacted him again and he said he would check on it. On 03/07/22 he claimed that he thought they already paid it. On 03/17/22 he asked for the quote again via text so I sent it to him. On 03/22/22 and 03/28/22 he continuously tried to make me believe that he was going to handle it soon. On 03/29/22 he tells me that he sent the check in the mail when I told him I wanted to pick it up in person. It is now 04/07/22 and there is no check. I want my house placed correctly.
