We have a beautiful home but getting there was not pleasant with this builder! Once we chose our selections, which was probably the only good experience we had, the issues started immediately. *8-3-21 foundation started, nearly 2 months after signing the contract. *Several houses in the neighborhood took priority over ours. In fact, 3 houses were started after ours and completed before ours during the build. We were told that those were spec houses and easier to build than our custom home BS! We were told several times that there were material shortages but didn't seem to have any on the other house being constructed. *Most of the material issues stemmed from their lack of planning and ordering in a timely manner, even though we were told to make our selections early because of this, they still failed to order material promptly. Major item was interior doors. along with tile etc... *Overall quality of the home was subpar, they were so far behind schedule, things were just thrown together. walls were not square which led to the floor tile pattern looking like a Dr. Seuss house. Floor tile, backsplash tile and shower tile had to be busted out several times and it still isn't right! Door frame moldings are not cut to same level as other doors...Word of advice, pay very close attention during all phases, corners are cut often! Total lack of craftsmanship with most of this build! *Unfinished bonus room was not built according to the home we toured or what is advertised on their website, however we were told that it was built according to the drawings. The major problem was the bonus room restroom ceiling, while standing where the shower would be, my head was hitting the roof decking ***! The only thing offered was to refund $2500 in change order money. I expressed that this offer was not good enough and then we were threatened to be charged extra for material that had gone up due to inflation. *Management showed total lack of concern on any issue we had.
