I contracted with Roll Shield to build me a sunroom. I signed a contract on Feb. 16, 2021. They did not begin until Sept. 22,2021. I was never contacted to explain the delay. Today is Dec. 18th,2021 and the are still not finished. I have been more that patient with their delays but my patience is gone. I have previously submitted a complaint with BBB, but took it down at the owners request when I was assured things would improve. Work was started soon after. However, my contract includes a concrete block wall to be built. They apparently haven't made a sincere effort to hire a block mason to build it. My sunroom is not complete and is unusable until the wall is built. Roll Shield is fully aware of my dissatisfaction but continue to delay. I had hoped to use my new room for Thanksgiving but it was not complete. Now it appears that it will not be done by Christmas. I have given them one month, January 18,2022, to complete the project at which time I will be contacting my attorney for Breach of Contract. I certainly hope that they now know that I am serious. The name of our company is Rolling Shield and we don't build sun rooms or concrete block walls. We don't work anywhere near the zip code described. Our company operates in the Tri-county area of Miami-Dade County FL, Broward County FL and Monroe County FL. Our company is located in Hialeah Gardens and Ft Myers. We manufacture and install Hurricane shutters, Hurricane screens, Awnings and blinds. After reviewing the information, this is not our customer and the work described is not part of our scope of work. Also, we do not operate anywhere near the zip code described.
