We signed a roof replacement contracts with CRS (Completed Roofing Solutions, **** located at ******************************************************************* on June 22, 2023. CRS never notified me the date of roof replacement work begin. I asked CRS several times before the roof replacement begin trying to acquire the estimation costs for partial rotten fascia board and plywood if needed. But they never responded me. Instead, after completion, they sent me an additional charge of $9997.80 besides contract price $24295 for partial replacement of fascia board and plywood, stucco repair, etc. After my contractor performed measurement and provided me those pictures, I found that CRS charged almost 3 times more than what they supposed charge for partial replacement of fascia board and plywood. Besides, they also removed and disposed of the gutters without my consent and never sent me pictures of those gutters!I called and emailed ******, the owner of CRS regarding this overcharge, he was yelling at me on the phone threatening to file a lien on my property if I dont pay the overcharged amount. Eventually he did file a lien on my house even after I have paid full contract price on time and additional $3398.5 payment based on actual fascia and plywood replacement.This company is quite dishonest and always try hiding working details to maximize their profit. We tried communicate with them but neither answer our questions nor provided us any technical concerns, always evade your question topic and key point here is they never follow contract statements Extra work should be considered a change order and must be approved by owner
