            I recently sought to cancel my service with Company.com in September of 2021. I was informed I would owe a steep $2,101.60 penalty in cancellation fees. Upon speaking with Company.com representative ********* ******* I was informed I was under contract with Company.com. I explained to Ms. Holmes my initial contract period with this company had long expired in 2015, after the agreed-upon initial Three (3) year contract and whatever current agreement was an automatically renewal of my service contract, of which I had never been contracted nor informed. I informed Company.com that automatic renewals in the State of Georgia were deemed illegal under Chapter 12 to Title 13 of the Official Code of Georgia. I was directed to speak with ***** ******** a Company.com Service Representative. After explaining the situation to Mr. Morales, I was disregarded and told the company stood behind their contracts, the statute was of no concern to him, and said penalty still applied.

            Was canceled by this company with an early termination fee of $2856.95 during covid-19 shutdown without notice. They waited for my contract to automatically renew then terminated my account for non activate sales to get the maximum fee . I feel this is a deceptive business practice by this company they could of email or mailed a letter of intent before doing this. Refunding my money would be the right thing to do.
