    I booked one night with this hotel six months ago through expedia on Aug 2nd ****. We booked this specific hotel because of the itinerary we were following for my friends birthday celebration! When boarding the flight ( we flew in from *********) I called the hotel and asked for early check in. That is when I was informed my expedia booking was not showing on their system. They could see it but a room was not saved for us and they were completely booked! I freaked out bc I booked **** so long ago and never rain into a issue like this! Long story we ubered to the hotel anyway seeing if they could accommodate us somehow. We waited about 20 mins to speak with front desk guy bc he was helping someone on the phone . He was very nice though. He sd the guy otp didn't want his room anymore so we could have that room. We were so thankful! Went to the room.. We got ready and tried to take showers. The water barely dripped out. I just ended up not showering and goimg to our celebration. Then in the middle of the night the toilet stopping flushing and almost overflowed . For no reason. I had only peed in it! I was to tired to complain at that time. So when I got up I called no answer several times. I finally went downstairs to talk with the front desk but several ppl were in line waiting and I had to use the restroom. So I walked to ********** used the restroom and called and let them know what was going on with the restroom. I feel like the room we got was a room another guest did not want to stay in and now I see why. And we were given it bc our booking wasn't showing in their system. I feel I deserve a refund bc of all the issues we faced. I booked it six months in advance none of this should have happened. Someone dropped the ball on this one.

    I'm a travel agent whose clients originally booked the Kent Hotel on my website for their stay (May 14th - 16th) but due to inspection issues they were unexpectedly redirected to the Colony Hotel. My clients said their room was not in the best condition and there was a large hole in their hotel room's bathroom wall. They were not given a different room nor was their stay discounted. The repair to fix the bathroom was not responded to until the day they were checking out. I personally called the Colony Hotel on Monday the 17th to address this situation. The person I spoke to said they were unaware of any issues with my clients' room. My number and email was requested as I was told my complaint would be given to the manager and I should expect a response within 2 days. Well it's been almost a week and no one has called or left an email to address the problem. My clients deserve better and are owed some compensation from the Colony Hotel. Not to respond in a timely manner is disrespectful as well. This Hotel doesn't even deserve a one star rating!
