The general manager is the worst manager I have ever come across, and I am a manager myself. He kicked ** out and called the police on us for complaining about the lack of housekeeping. For the price paid we should not have to repeatedly ask for our room to be cleaned with fresh towels each day and toilet paper stocked in our room. We asked nicely every day to make sure it was done but it never was then finally on the last day, we were fed up and complained to an employee when we got back from a long day at the beach in Key West when all we wanted to do was take a shower with fresh towels, and sleep in a bed with fresh sheets, but instead of taking care of our needs, the manager decided to kick us out because his employee called and woke him up out of his sleep. The place was also very rundown, needed extreme maintenance and landscaping. The only good part about it was watching the sunset at the Pointe Bar. There is no beach or restaurant at the location like advertised. The only beach area is surrounded by rocks and there is no swimming access. The breakfast was basic and should have been better quality for the price paid. There is laundry on site but you need quarters to do laundry and there is no change machine. There is a $48 a night resort fee for what? I would like a refund for some of my stay for being treated so horribly. Being kicked out with no other place to stay at 11 at night with 3 kids because we complained about the lack of housekeeping is not okay. Saw a bad review the same week for the same reasons, the manager needs to learn how to address complaints better. I am appalled by his actions and will not recommend any this resort to anyone until this is resolved.
