I have Florida Blue PPO dental insurance. In 2022 I went to Dr. ********************** to get my right K9 tooth pulled. They told me I would owe $420.00 and my insurance would pay the rest. They ended up charging me $600.00. In 2023 I went to Dr. ********************** to get a root canal and crown on a premolar tooth. They had me sign a statement that I owed $642.00 and the insurance would pay the rest. I paid them and later they billed me an additional $220.00. This time I demanded an itemized statement. The statement shows Dr. ********************** did not bill the insurance for the root canal or removing the old crown. I was forced to pay this full rate out of pocket. It is my opinion that the business is dishonest based on both cases. My family has canceled all appointments and changed dentist's office. I got nowhere trying to get a resolution or reasonable explanation that is believable.
