I reached out to Landfall Data in October of 2021 in hopes of buying effective aged data for a marketing campaign. I agreed to a test order of 1000 USD to confirm the validity of their product. The first batch of data, all of which included they claimed included proof of opt-in, had over 65% bad or otherwise invalid email addresses. While they did fix this and provide a new batch of data from the same time frame they did pass ***** verification, the open rate on roughly 15,000 emails was ~70. When I reached out about why verified email addresses were not even opening our marketing emails, they ghosted us. Either this is the worst batch of email marketing data ever bought or they got caught delivering invalid email addresses and simply replaced them with valid ones but obviously not from individuals who actually opted in to a marketing campaign. It's clear they can't deliver valid email addresses and the bad ones we've already marketed to has damaged our email delivery reputation. I see no solution other than a refund of our money.
