For the love of all things holy, whether you believe in a higher power or not, DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!!Not only have I had a horrible experience with their vets dismissing MY pet, but my family members and friends have too.My dog had heart failure. His eye was about to rupture and I had taken him in and they told me he was fine and just needed some eye drops to ease the discomfort but gave him nothing for pain and to decrease the swelling and blood flow in his eye. His eye ruptured the next day. I called them and they said wait till Monday and take him to my typical vet. Within a day of pain and suffering after the trauma, he died.My mother took her cat in with a bladder blockage and crystals and she was told to just take him home and let him rest it will be fine. He almost died. She took him to a different vet in ***** who told her he did in fact have bladder crystals and started him on meds to calm him down and safely pass the crystals. My sister took her kitten in who was having severe lethargy after being freshly adopted. He was wheezing and choking on his spit and his eyes were so goopy and crusted shut that he couldn't open them. His nose was runny and he couldn't even stand on his own. The vet only took a look at him and told her he was fine and that his current state was NORMAL for a cat adopted from the shelter. He almost suffocated this morning and she took him to my usual vet after they squeezed him in for an emergency and he had an upper respiratory infection and conjunctivitis. He is now medicated and already showing signs of feeling better. My friend was extremely concerned about her cat who was lethargic and had symptoms of FIV and she took him in. They did $2600 worth of tests and told her nothing was wrong with him but that he would probably only live for another month and to start planning his end of life care. She went to the vet I go to and all he needed was an immune booster and antibiotics because he had an infection in his tummy.

Extreme prices for things that they say you need but that you in fact do not need. Extremely long wait times and we were not even told when to come to get our pet. They did not address our issues.

Sat March 19th I had an emergency with my pet dog. I called all vets in ******** area non were open. I took my dog to this clinic. The clinic took 4,5 hours of waiting in our car while they had my dog inside. No one every called or said anything so at 2hours my wife went in and asked what the heck was going on. The receptionest called back and said she needed an update on my dog. An hour later the vet came out and said she did a complete physical exam and xrays. She said she was watching him a bit and someone would bring him out. She took my wife to a room where no one could hear in the lobby and said she could not find anything! They brought my dog out and we paid a **** of $512.00. With the vet saying there was nothing wrong with my dog. Monday March 21 I took my dog after he was laying all weekend not eating not moving and drooling blood from his mouth. The vet clinic I took him to was ******************** in ***** *****. As I was filling out my new patient form they came and took my dog to the back, Exactly ******************************************************************************************** his gum lower back right side. Exam chg West vet ****** new vet ***** Dog was put to sleep for stick removal. Westvet chg total $512.00 New vet chg $281.00 Westvet said nothing wrong with my dog. New vet during routine exam found the stick. No xrays required. I could see the stick. Westvet said they looked all the way down his throat as far as they could. Impact area and stick was obvious just opening his mouth and looking. Left my dog at Lakeshore vet they put him to sleep removed stick cleaned him up gave him an antibotic shot picked him up at 4:00 pm. We spent a total of 49 minutes at the lakeshore clinic including pick up time! **** was less than half of Westvet charges. Requested a reporton after care from Westvet. Left 3 messages for Clinic manager to call me. Sent 3 emails and still no discharge reports. Nothing. No return phone calls.

This hospital takes advantage of the fact that they are really the only 24 hour *****************. That is the only thing they have to offer. Extremely expensive, above and beyond other local vets. I have had personal experience of my dog being killed by them as well as friends and family's pets. This hospital is a dangerous and mismanaged facility. The utter lack of care, concern and education from all staff and Doctors is appalling. I would be extremely wary of taking a beloved pet or any animal here if you want it live. Even if going in for something simple. Ask around and make an informed decision about this place. There are very well educated and *********** in the valley. Do your research and give the veterinarians who care your business so that your beloved family member survives.
