On February 19th, ****, *** from Idaho Property Maintenance arrived at my home at 8:58 a.m. He was here to install floor tile in my bathroom. Which he did. He removed the old baseboard, of which a small 2 " piece was missing. He showed me that it was missing and I said "don't worry about it". By the end of the job, he DID install a 2" piece of baseboard.*** was here working, except for a run to ********** for supplies he said he didn't have, like a tube of caulking for around the tub. He was done about 1:45 and presented me with a bill for $512.42.I didn't expect the bill to be so high. At $75 an hour, labor should have been $300. Apparently, I was charges $340 for labor (as per ******* the admin. assistant - since I haven't received an itemized receipt).The bill should have been a little over $300, not $512. I can only guess that he charged me for the purchase of an 80" strip of baseboard, of which he used two inches. He did not replace the rest of the baseboard, just reinstalled the old, with one new 2" piece.I did not authorize *** to make that purchase.I would like to be reimbursed for $40 that was overcharged for labor. I would also like to be reimbursed for the cost of the baseboard which I did not authorize (the amount of which I'm not sure - since I don't have an itemized receipt) - but must be around $150 if you do the math.
