      This company charged me $325 for replacing a cartridge in a **** faucet. In my opinion, they are a rip off company and I will never hire them again. I have checked with other plumbing companies for the same repair and this company charged me over twice the amount quoted by other companies. Buyer beware!!

      I was quoted $265 service and was charged $475 and nothing was repaired. He just gave a quote of over $2000 to replace a sub pump, I have a home warranty and he said he would sent a quote and get the company to replace as much as he could, and they denied this quote, and now I am out the $475 for nothing, he did absolutely nothing to fix my sub pump, and I still have it leaking, its been almost a month now. I feel robbed by giving him over and above the quoted price of $265. I am wanting a refund for this. He also made the comment he did not want to tear apart a pump on a weekend, and I felt the comment he made about getting insurance to pay as much as he could get out to them, and this extremely high price, now I have nothing . I looked online and the price of a pump and float are $350.

      Called Glenrose about hot water tank and when they arrived requested a couple of faucet repairs and a faucet replacement (which I had already purchased). Was given a lump-sum 'quote' that yes I agreed too. As the installation of tank was taking place, and repairs being done, i began to question things given what I was seeing and hearing from installer. Parts for one of the faucets had to be ordered so he was to return in two days. At the end of the first day tank was installed and one faucet repaired and I requested to have an itemized billing. I was told it would be 'handled.' Well handling meant ignoring. After many requests I was told that it was against company policy to provide an itemized invoice. I am a senior citizen and have in the past done a lot of my own repairs, such as the faucets. I know what was done and what the parts used were. I also observed the plumber and what parts he used. My bill for one faucet repair was 341.61. This involved two 'O' rings, two washers, and stems. Retail on these parts is about 20.00. The owner of the company informed me that I was NOT charged ANY labor for these repairs. Again, no itemized billing was provided after several requests. After finding this out I looked into the cost of the water tank and appears the cost was well above normal for that installation. I don't even have an idea of how much in sales taxes were included in ANY of the work, if any was. And certainly was not afforded any senior citizen discount. Trust is NOT something you want to diminish, at least most businesses don't. Does make you question what is being hidden by not providing an itemized invoices.
