Carpet was installed with wrong tackstrips height. Carpet sinks on all edges. Dillabaughs sent Quality Control Manager ************************* out who said they are terrible and that the installer needs to fix them. Installer ********************* from MKC came out and said they are terrible he's never seen any that bad and he knows how to fix them, he needs to raise the tackstrips. He said he would fix them! **** said he called ***** and ****** said that would void ****** warranty. I called **** they said Dillabaughs needs to install the carpet correctly. Dillabaughs responded and said the carpet is fine. It's one thing if ***** and **** did not come to the house and say how bad it's, then it would just be a customer perception. BUT they sent ***** out, ***** sent **** out they all agreed it's terrible. But then Dillabaughs just responds it's all fine. It's not fine and all we are asking for is normal carpet with normal installation. We would like our carpet to lay flat and not sink on all edges. **** said a different tackstrip needs used if it's next to hardwood and that is exactly our situation. Everything we have done with Dillabaughs has been terrible customer service. First the carpet was drug on the pickup truck by installer- yes I have photos, it's half in a small pickup and half dragging on the road! UNBELIEVEABLE! Carpet then had holes in it from being drug. Installer ruined every seam and entire carpet had to be replaced. Installer dropped speaker onto hardwood windows- so both got dented. Installer didn't cut vent out. Hardwood floor was scratched and dented.We reached out to them Friday, tonight they write it's been some time since they heard from us? Really one day??Their manager and installer told us this installation is bad. They said **** will void the warranty if they fix it and install correctly- TOTALLY UNTRUE! It's not our fault they cause the damages!We are asking for what their very own manager and installer said need to be done!
