    On June 15, 2021 we had a flood in our home and hired Belfor to do the restoration and remodel. This consisted of a total kitchen demo and remodel along with the replacement of a bathroom vanity and flooring in the master bathroom. When the cabinets arrived Belfor ordered the wrong size and had to return them and order new ones. The right cabinets arrived and as they were being installed I witnessed damage being done to the wood due to the wrong screws and poor judgment by the cabinet installer. I contacted our project manager right away so he could address the damage being done to witch he responded it would be 100 percent when it was finished. I proceeded to take pictures of the damage and send to Belfor. My concerns were not addressed and the installer continued to damage my cabinets. The bathroom vanity was ordered to large and I was told that was the only vanity they could get because the only other size was too small and they would be able to remove the drywall to fit the vanity. In the process of removing the drywall the corner of my wall were changed from rounded bullnose corners to square drywall corners. When we addressed this we were told they would not restore the walls. They did not replace my transition strip between the new hard floor and carpet and no my carpet is shredding. They ripped part of a wall off in the 1/2 bath after removing the sink to replace the flooring and did not fix it. The quality of wood used on my cabinets is not the quality I had before. They left work unfinished and have caused the value of my home to decrease considerably lower.

    We had a attic fire at my house, my insurance recommended BELFOR to restorer. It was the beginning of many problems. They work with cheapest and very low quality contractors. They dont consider the safety or even health of the family who will live it the home. They came and cause three different floods not including when they removed all of the roof and exposed the house to snow and rain. *** from the burn wood felt all over my kids room floor and very hard to remove. Downstairs living room, bathroom, hallway, bedroom and laundry room had damaged from water. Repairs of the ceiling texture was a very ugly job it did not match the rest of the ceiling. Same with all of upstairs ceiling texture was done by someone that dont care or does not know the job. They also left parts of the outside plywood walls without siding or plastic cover exposed to wind and rain, this may have cause mold without me knowing. Insulation was blowing out of the attic to the ground because they never install the soffit. My master bathtub they installed has a small crack and they dont want to take responsibility for it. This is going to cost me a lot to replace. They also charge me for a security fence around my house that they never set up. After all this problems I discontinued working with BELFOR and try to hire a different contractor but BELFOR will not release the city permits on till I paid them. But funds dont get released from bank on till the completion of the the repairs is at 90%. I was in a difficult situation and not been able to finish my house. But the problem would not stop. BELFOR continued to give me problems sending contractors to my house with me knowing to order the siding for me and sell it at a higher price. They denied this and lie of having the order the siding. I had to contact corporate to stop them from buying the wrong siding. But windows were drop off outside my house and they also were wrong. No one at BELFOR is honest or cares for their customers.
