Vargo Construction did work on our kitchen and put new flooring in throughout the house. The floors look fine but the floorboards look really bad.The corners were not filled in,they hadn't been painted, they were scratched and dirty. When *** Vargo gave us the final **** it was higher than the original estimate, but he said he would submit a letter to our homeowners insurance company for reimbursement. Months passed and he hadn't submitted the letter. We sent numerous messages regarding this and asked what the color of paint was so I could paint it myself. These messages were ignored until I left an angry voicemail. He did submit the letter to the insurance company and said he would bring some paint over. He never brought the paint over , even after several reminder text messages. Then the metal trim on the counters in the kitchen began to rust. This was not the trim that we purchased. We were told that what we purchased could not be used and asked if this one was ok. We agreed because we trusted them. I texted a picture of the rusted counter to *** and he replied that he could fix it. He also said he would bring the paint. On the planned day he texted that his crew was all out sick and he would be in touch the next morning. He was not in touch the next morning or the morning after that. We still have not heard from him.
