On Wednesday January 10,2024 my utilities at my home was cut off i contacted the COA utility department and paid my bill upon them restoring the power some of my appliances in the home wasn’t working stove, heating and my master bedroom lights was not coming on it was after hours so i reached out to the COA thinking it was something they did not do right upon them checking the outside meter/breaker think that’s what it’s called they informed me that they had to shut my power off i tried to contact the my property manager through someone else that stays in the subdivision Thursday morning at 730am i submitted a request online they informed me that a maintenance was going to check it out maintenance did not come to the house until 130 pm and stated i needed to call the COA and ask them to return the meter the COA stated that they could not until a licensed electrician come out to the property and a inspector to make sure the house was safe for us to go back inside and power restored my property manager informed me that the electrician that they have a contract with won’t be able to come out until MONDAY which is a holiday but the COA is closed so from WEDNESDAY-TUESDAY they are expecting me to be w/o power and a freeze is supposed to come through i asked would they accommodate me and my family a hotel for the days and the property manager stated that you know they are cheap so they probably won’t but i just paid rent $996 on Friday 1/5/2024 and $452 to the COA Wednesday then proceeded to say that the supervisor stated that they don’t even know if they are at fault the COA might be because they did something when cutting the power off
