      I bought a festiva from Walker Dodge in 2012. The very next day the transmission went out. They refused to take the vehicle back. In 2020, I co-signed a car for my youngest son and the next day it quit. We took it back and they cleared the service lights and it quit continuously and they refused to acknowledge that they did not repair it. In January 2022, the same issue they diagnosed in 2020 had to be fixed on his 2015 Chrysler. He brought it in for diagnostics and they told him the repairs would be $500+ for a part that was $50. He declined the repair. We went to pick up the vehicle and they had repaired it anyway and told them he could not get his car unless he paid for services. My eldest son bought a Buick from Walker's other branchin 2022 and put an extended warranty on it. He took it in for repairs and was told it needed a motor and would take a week to repair. His warranty had a deductible for $150. They kept the car for 2 months and authorized a rental for one week and whenever he went to pick up the vehicle, they told him he would have to pay $2500 to get his car back when the warranty was only for $150. When he could not pay, they seized his car. He had made every payment on the loan note and the insurance the entire 2 months it was not drivable. I took my 2010 dodge caliber to them and requsted a diagnostics this. I authorized a diagnostics which they charged $203 and told me the price increased. They never did the diagnostics. They told me I needed an alternator and they could get the part factory direct in 2 days and the repair would be $987. They then called me back and said they could not get the factory direct and it would be cheaper if they got the part from O'Reilly. They paid $258 for the part and charged me $521. The total cost to me was $1267 after financing. The car quit the same day and they never did the diagnostics. They are 0 for 4 on repairs and purchases with me.

      I took my Jeep to Walker to get it repaired and they got on it right away. They found the problem and give me an estimate to fix it. The Jeep had several problems: abs sensors on two tires, oil cooler leak and rear main seal leak. As a mechanic myself, I was shocked at the large bill but I know it takes a while to do these things. I received a phone call about 8 hours later that my Jeep was fixed. I couldn't believe that all of this work was done in 8 hours especially since the rear main seal requires the transmission to be pulled. When I went to pick up my Jeep I was even more shocked to find out that I was charged for 16 hours of labor because that is what the book says it is supposed to take. I paid for double the amount of labor that was actually used to do the work because they go by a book to charge for labor. Beware! If you get a big job done you will pay a big price because some book tells them what to charge. So then their mechanic can sit around for 8 hours, play on their phone and make $175.00 an hour while you pay them. I will not be taking anything else to Walker for repairs.

      I WAS GIVEN AN APPT TO HAVE MY VEHICLE SERVICED AND CHECKED OUT DUE TO MECHANICAL ISSUES. MY APPT TIME WAS 8 AM ON 02/09/2022. I DROPPED MY VEHCILE OFF ON 02/08/2022 AT 5:30. FILLED OUT MT PAPERWORK AND DROPPED MT KEY IN THE NIGHT DROP BOX. AS I ONLY HAVE ONE VEHICLE. I TRIED TO MAKE SURE MY VEHICLE IS THERE ON TIME SO IT CAN BE FIXED IN A TIMELY MANNER. I DID MY PART BY HAVING IT THERE THE EVENING BEFORE. I RECEIVE AN EMAIL SAYING I MISSED MY SERVICE APPT. HOWEVER I RECEIVED A TEXT SAYING MY VEHICLE SERVICE REPAI ORDER HAS BEEN ADDED. THEN I CALL NUMEROUS TIMES ON MY VEHICLE TO FOLLOW UP WHY I HAVE RECEIVED 2 DIFFERENT STATUS ON MY VEHICLE. I GET A VOICEMAIL EVERYTIME I CALL. ON 02/10/2022 AROUND 4:30PM I GET A CALL FROM BRANDON TELLING ME THAT MY APPT IS NOT AN APPT JUST A DROP OFF TIME AND IT COULD BE UP TO A WEEK BEFORE THEY GET MY VEHICLE IN THE SHOP TO BE DIAGNOSED THEN THEY WILL CONTACT ME . THEY HAVE TRANSMISSION WORK AND MOTOR WORK VEHICLES THEY NEED TO GET DONE AND SOME OTHERS THEY HAVE TO SERVICE BEFORE THEY CAN DO MINE. BUT MIND YOU I WAS GIVEN AN APPT AND HAD MY VEHICLE THEIR WAY BEFORE MY SCHEDULED TIME. I WAS NOT INFORMED OF A LENGTHY SERVICE LINE OR VEHICLES AHEAD OF ME WHEN I WAS GIVE MY 8 AM SERVICE TIME. I DID MY PART. I HAVE NO VEHICLE TO DRIVE. I AM A NURSE AT A CLINIC I WORK MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. THIS IS MY ONLY MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION. I HAVE 3 CHILDREN IN SCHOOL AND A FULL TIME JOB AND NO WAY TO GO BUT HAD AN APPT TO HAVE MY VEHICLE WORKED ON 02/09/2022 AT 8 AM AND NOW I AM BEING TOLD IT WILL BE ABOUT A WEEK BEFORE THEY CAN EVEN LOOK AT IT TO SEE WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT. APPARENTLY THEY HAVE VERY POOR COMMUNICATION BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS. SINCE I RECEIVED 2 DIFFENT STATUS ABOUT MY VEHICLE AND WAS SENT A NOTICE SAYING I MISSED MY SCHEDULED APPT. BUT MY VEHICLE HAD BEEN AT THEIR SERVICE DEPT SINCE 02/08/2022. NOW I AM STILL VEHICLE LESS NO ANSWERS AND NO TIME FRAME ON WHEN MY VEHICLE WILL BE SERVICED. JUST NEED A RIDE FOR WORK AND MY CHILDREN.

      Your 2018 Journey that requires a replacement transmission has 108,923 miles on it currently , it is well out of any manufacturer warranty and we understand your extended warranty policy has expired also. We have offered financing options through BDS for the repairs and also a trade-in value for a replacement vehicle.
      We can appreciate the frustration when an unplanned expensive repair happens , however we disagree with the 1 star review you have left us here at Walker CDJR.

      I think they give priority to their government and city contracts before warranty and paying customers. It's been a year to attempt to fix a single oil leak on my truck with 70,000 miles. Between misdiagnoses of the leak and excuses of why they need more time to get my truck in to fix it. They also lied about fixing the leak and replacing a seal that wasn't part of the leak. Bottom line is I don't think they understand the mechanics of a Diesel engine and can't replace a seal. Took my truck to Benoit and they diagnosed the problem and are fixing it in a week. If you buy a truck from them expect warranty work to not be done at a time when you need it to be done
