            I called the company and asked to schedule a day to help me move roughly a week from the day, they transferred me to a person that told me they could meet the date requested and then asked me to pay a portion of the fee. Which I did, I paid $250 and then hung up. I called back within 2 hrs and informed them that I wouldnt need their help and cancelled the service request. They then told me that what I paid wouldnt be refunded, when I asked why not, they told me that it was a non refundable deposit. That was never explained to me on the initial call before they took my money. When I asked to speak with the person in charge that makes the decisions on refunds I was transferred over to the owner who yelled at me and told me that he moved heaven and earth to make my reservation possible and then hung up on me without another word. I have still not heard back or received my refund.

            Decided to use a local family owned moving company for my move from CA to ** and boy I am so glad I did. My realtor mentioned several clients had used Terry Moving & Storage. Their prices were competitive with the larger national companies PLUS you get the excellent customer service that a smaller local ********************** can provide you. *** was my initial contact and was great to work with in getting my many questions answered on what was included in the price. **** was great about keeping me informed on the arrival date window. The local **** that loaded the truck were ROCK STARS! They showed up right on time and were so understanding of the emotions and craziness I was dealing with trying to get the last minute items packed for the truck or my car. They offered to help with whatever I needed and I took them up on that. I would put items in a certain place and they would quickly pack those last items up. What a BLESSING they were!!! Such hard workers. I was amazed at how quickly they moved everything into the truck. Well coordinated ****! **** kept me informed each night about where the driver was and that he was still on track to deliver at the expected time. Fortunately for me, the truck left 2 1/2 days AFTER I did or it would have beat me to FL! Les was such an amazing driver!!! He also coordinated the FL **** to unload the truck and that went extremely well also! Those guys were hard working, very considerate of my belongings, put the boxes in the appropriate room, and set up the beds/furniture that needed it. They also asked if I needed any assistance with anything. They would move whatever I needed before they left. Another ROCK STAR team!!! Everything was loaded and unloaded carefully. So far have not encountered any damage. I was so pleased with how everyone at Terry Moving made this experience such a positive one for me!!! This is my first big move across the country and everyone did what they could to make it as painless as possible. So grateful!!
