    On 3/24/23 my wife had knee replacement surgery. This billing office represents LGIBSON *************** On 9/11/23 I received a threatening letter from Monox Billing Service stating that my bill had not been paid and that I would be sent to collections in 15 days if the bill was not paid. This was the first I have received any notification of any issues.I called my insurance and they told me that Monox had not submitted the proper documentation and this documentation was requested on 5/2/23. Monox did NOT respond or send in the documentation until 9/5. My insurance stated that they received the documentation on 9/5, entered the system on 9/7, went into the adjudication process 9/11, and will be paid on 10/5.I then called Monox and spoke with *******. I gave all the information to him and he looked the account up and said that yes, they had sent the documentation in on 9/5 and that their manager was working with the insurance. I asked why I would get a threatening letter like that when Monox billing did not do their job and he said it was a automatic letter. I told him it should not be my issue if his company cannot follow their own procedures and properly bill my insurance and that it is not right that I would receive such a threatening letter as the first time this company has ever contacted me.
